A crunchy and sweet cookie-centered world where you create your own character and become the website manager of a tech company. Play minigames to improve marketing, website analytics, and also to protect your website from the many dangers of the internet. Bring the company to the top!

But is everything really as easy and simple as it looks?

My Project Manager Role:

Applying AGILE methodology for creating a new game. I formulated the concept and vision of the project and was in charge of recruitment, leading team meetings, conducting and sharing literature reviews, designing and finalizing systems, and participating in every team meetings from game dev sprints to art creation and UI design.

Applied Work

Utilizes an interactive narrative that takes inspiration from real world social events revolving internet cookies, data breaches, privacy, ML/AI, and more. Integrates lessons and teachings on tech literacy to help bring future generations to an equal footing on how technology is tracking us.

Built on Research

From the beginning, the team read and implemented design philosophies of educational and serious games that help optimize a player’s learning, enjoyment, and overall accessibility. Integrated internal measurements were built to create a foundation of adaptability and analysis for how to improve the game for learning.

Built for Diversity

An effective educational game needs to appeal to different populations and skill levels. A balance of narrative and customization options with interactive gameplay was at the forefront of our design for the game. Character customization, the ability to make moral decisions, a low barrier of entry with a high ceiling of skill is important within CookieMania.
